Coach Tim Gilbert – Founder & Director

Executive Director, Head Coach 1st Team, Head Coach U19 Boys
Coach Tim Gilbert is the Founder and Executive Director of Lake Country United FC, where he leads with a passion for player development, college and professional placement, and collaborative coaching. A former standout youth player and now experienced coach, having coached 530+ soccer matches (Youth & Adult) since July 2015, earned 17 division titles/Tournament Championships. He holds a C License from USSF. Coach Tim has helped over 100 athletes earn college scholarships and has guided several to professional opportunities. He is known for creating a supportive, competitive environment where families, players, and coaches all thrive together.
Coach Oquin “Q” Robinson
Head Coach - U19 Girls
Coach Q brings high-level playing experience, energy, and a player-first approach to Lake Country United FC as head coach of the U19 Girls team. Originally from Jamaica, he played for Harbor View FC from the U13 through U20 levels before continuing his career at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where he played for four and a half years while earning his degree in Sociology. In addition to competing in USL2 with Memphis and Des Moines Menace, Coach Q has spent years developing players through personal training and academy coaching. Known for creating a positive, challenging environment, he is passionate about helping players grow technically, mentally, and confidently both on and off the field.
Coach Fred Velasquez
Assistant Director, Head Coach U14 Boys, First Team Asst. Coach, Associate Head Coach U19 Boys
Coach Fred Velasquez, originally from Mexico, brings decades of high-level playing and coaching experience to Lake Country United FC. A former professional player for Celaya FC in the early 1990s, Fred later moved to the United States, where he began coaching youth soccer in Washington, Georgia in 2016.
Coach Silvino Perez
Head Coach - U12 Boys, First Team Asst. Coach
Originally from Mexico City, Coach Silvino Perez brings energy, passion, and deep experience to our Under 12 Boys team. A former semi-professional goalkeeper, he began coaching in youth and high school soccer after moving to the U.S. He holds a U.S. Soccer Grassroots License and Georgia High School Soccer Coaches Certification. Since 2023, he’s been a valued part of LCUFC, inspiring players to be confident, creative, and free on the pitch. He also coaches the Commerce High School Varsity Boys team and is a proud husband and father of three young soccer players.
Coach Victor Hernandez
Goalkeepers Coach, U17 Boys Associate Head Coach
Victor Hernandez is LCUFC’s Goalkeepers Coach and the Associate Head Coach for Lake Country United FC’s U17 Boys Team. A former standout goalkeeper, he was a three-year varsity starter at Putnam County High School and holds the school record for most clean sheets in a season. He played club soccer with LCUFC and Old Capitol SC, later earning college offers from multiple programs before accepting with Georgia Military College. Victor played for Georgia Revolution FC U23s (2022–2024) and served as their Goalkeeper Coach, while also training keepers at LCUFC. He is a certified USSF referee with over 300 matches officiated and brings a well-rounded, player-focused approach to coaching.
