LCUFC 2010 Boys Head Coach

Victor Hernandez joins the Lake Country United FC coaching staff as Head Coach of the U16 Boys for the upcoming season, bringing with him a strong background in goalkeeping and player development. A standout youth player, Victor was a three-year varsity starter for Putnam County High School in Central Georgia, earning 1st Team All-Region honors each of those years. In 2018, he was named Defensive MVP for the varsity boys and still holds the school record for most clean sheets in a single season.

Victor’s club playing career began with Lake Country United FC, where he competed from 2016 to 2018, before spending two years with Old Capitol Soccer Club. His talent earned him college scholarship offers from several programs including GMC, Daytona State, ASA Miami, Thomas University, Andrew College, Middle Georgia State University, Emmanuel University, and Reinhardt University. He accepted his offer from Georgia Military College, where he continued his growth at the collegiate level.

From 2022 to 2024, Victor played at the adult level with Georgia Revolution FC U23s while also serving as the Goalkeeper Coach for their U15, U19, and U23 teams. He also worked with Lake Country United FC in 2023 - 2024 as a dedicated Goalkeeper Trainer, working closely with our developing keepers. In addition to his coaching and playing experience, Victor is a certified USSF referee and has officiated over 300 matches across various age groups over the past five years.

Victor’s experience as a player, coach, and referee gives him a well-rounded perspective on the game. He brings energy, discipline, and a deep understanding of the goalkeeper position to our coaching team and is committed to helping young players grow both on and off the field.
