ATLANTA (March 10, 2020) – Lake Country United FC (LCUFC) announced today its partnership with Atlanta United of Major League Soccer as a Soccer Development Partner.

Atlanta United’s Soccer Development Partner Program creates a collaborative relationship between Atlanta United and local clubs to foster the development of the elite level player in Georgia.

Partners are eligible to identify, develop and promote players to the Atlanta United Academy, host combines and talent ID sessions to showcase players for Atlanta United and receive support in growing the game across the State of Georgia. Partners also gain access to view first team or academy training during the year for teams, coaches and players.

LCUFC will have the opportunity to be recognized for player development and club support by attending Atlanta United first team matches, be on the pitch, interact with first team staff and players and many more unique experiences.

LCUFC’s badge/crest will be represented on ATLUTD.com and the LCUFC will also receive special ticket promotions throughout the season along with customized matchday experiences for players and staff.

ABOUT LAKE COUNTRY UNITED FC

Lake Country United FC (LCUFC) is a non-profit organization that is serves primarily middle-working class families with kids ages 8 to 18 years of age. LCUFC’s mission is ‘to IMPACT our world in a positive way through SOCCER’. The club provides players with a positive environment to learn the fundamentals, tactics/ strategies of soccer, leadership skills, the importance of sportsmanship and the value of being a part of a team, all while being required to maintain an A/B average in school.

The Soccer Club was established in the summer of 2015 with two teams comprised of 27 players. The club has grown considerably each year through success. LCUFC also has a strategic affiliation with the Georgia Revolution FC and Georgia Storm Academy, which combined serves more than 1,800 youth soccer players, many right here in Lake Country.
